It is surrounded on three sides by rocks, and very private. On the northern side, glass sliding doors offer an expansive ocean view, and open onto a large covered patio (lanai), just steps from the beach. The covered lanai is roughly 300sq ft, with an additional 250sq ft of uncovered patio area. There is a hammock and gas BBQ on the lanai, a coffee table, small dining table and chairs. Nearby, a private gated walkway leads to the beach.

Two sets of sliding glass doors and main door allow cross ventilation by trade winds.The cottage has a bench and table in the living/ kitchen room. It also has a private patio covered with a fish pond/ waterfall and a small dining table and two chairs. In addition there is a private covered small patio on the beach for the studio.
