Instead of being a region in the city, Oxford Street and Bond Street are two major roadways. With so much activity moving up and down these streets, visitors will always have something to do.
Oxford Street and Bond Street are primarily known for the many high-end shops lining the road. During the holiday season, Oxford Street has an elaborate light display which is turned on by a celebrity each year. These streets are also close to two major parks in the city: Hyde Park, whose entrance was originally intended for Buckingham Palace and Regent's Park, which has the London Zoo near its grounds. Just north of these two streets is The Wallace Collection, a museum filled with works of art and furniture from the 18th and 19th centuries. Another museum in the area is the Handel House Museum, which was the home of composer George Frideric Handel, and has been modeled to look as it did during his residence in the building.
Oxford Street and Bond Street have access to many parts of London, but with so much adventure waiting on their sidewalks, visitors won't need to look very far for fun.
