San Jose del Cabo

San Jose del Cabo is found on the tip of Mexico’s westernmost peninsula. This area has many water sports waiting in this historic town.
The town is only a mile away from the ocean, so getting to the beach is never a problem. Tuna, Dorado, and Roosterfish are found in these waters, which makes sports-fishing a popular activity. Visitors can head to La Playita to fish, or enlist one of the many fishing charters to try their hand at sea. Surfing is also popular and lessons are available for novices. Snorkeling, scuba-diving gear, and body-boards can be rented from around town so visitors can enjoy the waters in different and unique ways everyday. Kayaking and scuba-diving tours are offered as well, but the option to explore alone is also available. El Estero is a wonderful lagoon to visit for those who want to explore the beach at their own pace.
