Probably not a good idea to rent a car. The town is small and easy to walk to most spots. The roads are terrible, and more suited for walking. If you visit the the corridor, take a bus. Rent a car if if you're going to tour the baja, although buses often run to LaPaz, Todo Santos or San Jose Del Cabo. Cabs are very expensive here.
