Our Picks
In San Jose del Cabo
Cactus Cantina aka Tez's
highly recommended Our favourite hang out. Located off of Costa Azul section of San Jose, in front of Coral Baja, this lively little sports bar and grill has terrific food and a wonderful atmosphere. The owner Tez, is on a first name basis with most of his customers.
The food here is excellent and reasonably priced. MC and Visa accepted.
Corre Caminos Bakery & Internet Cafe
highly recommended A wonderful place to start or end your day. Corre Camminos has delicious lattes and coffee drinks as well as fresh baked pastries.
Habaneros - just opened, in San Jose del Cabo is one of the best restaurants in Los Cabos. The owner/chef takes pride in the food and everything is very tasty.
Zipppers on the Beach
Casual and fun restaurant, right on the Costa Azul beach. Live music. Good food. Zippers: Palapa on Costa Azul beach, a favorite among surfers. Great BBQ ribs. If you happen to be a taco lover, don't miss Tacos Rossy's wonderful seafood tacos (lunch and dinner) and Las Ranas (din-ner only) which delights locals and tourists alike with its great carne asada (grilled meat) and tacos.
Cabo San Lucas
This cute little restaurant is right in the center of the Marina's restaurant distric. The food is very tasty, and prices are far lower than most if not all the restaurants on the Marina.
When in Cabo iIt truly is difficult to decide which restaurant to go to on the Marina, and after going to one you may decide that the view was nice and therefore the high price. Well, Pochos is the exception. The chef takes pride in what comes out of his kitchen and the prices are modest for Cabo, .
The menu ranges from traditional Mexican foods such as chicken enchiladas and chicken molle, which is outstanding, to lobster tails that are large, fresh and delicious. For desert you must try the Bananas Beignet... they are to die for. Ok, you may be thinking this review is biased. Well it is. I live in Cabo and eat out daily. It took me over 2 years to discover that there really is a good restaurant on the Marina. Pochos is my favorite restaurant.
Located on “restaurant row” at Plaza Bonita, on the Cabo San Lucas Marina, Pochos is
open daily, with a full breakfast menu, from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m
For reservations, call (624) 144-3183
Kathya the hostess will greet you with a warm smile and if you mention that you read about Pochos on Goin2Travel she will give you a free round of drinks with dinner. If you don't agree with my review, ask her how to get in touch with me, and Ill treat you to another free round of drinks.
Sea Queen

Fresh seafood, a sushi bar, a gourmet coffee shop and a bakery with tempting desserts. Dine casually under the shaded patio or relax inside the well-appointed dining room under large palapa. Recent visit to the Sea Queen, the service was impeccable, the shrimp soup in a tomato base was delicious, and the grilled lobster was sweet, tender and succulent.
Nick-San Japanese Restaurant
Incredibly fresh seafood is served at this Japanese restaurant and Sushi bar and restaurant. A very popular spot with people in-the-know. The sushi portions are large. Full bar, saki & Japanese beers.
