Play on the 4 mile long white sand Kailua Beach, the country's #1 ranked beach--just a few minutes drive from the inn. You may use the inn's beach towels, mats, chairs, toys, coolers, fishing poles, and boogie boards.

A 7 minute drive takes you to the country's most scenic and most difficult golf course, the Ko'olau golf Course. This par-72 course offers dramatic vistas of Oahu's coastline, extreme elevation changes, and an abundance of Hawaiian vegetation. Even if you don't golf, you can still enjoy the scenery from the restaurant.

The Valley of the Temples, nestled at the base of the towering Ko'olau Mountains is 15 minutes from the inn. Here you can see a full size replica of the Japanese temple, Byodo-In. Ring the enormous temple bell for good luck and feed the fish in the 2 acre koi ponds in this tropical version of Japan.

The famous Polynesian Cultural Center is a 45 minute drive from the inn along the eastern coast of Oahu past numerous lovely beaches. Take this opportunity to learn about the people and the cultures of the South Pacific.

Ecological tours, historical/cultural attractions and festivals, Sea Life Park, whale watching, ocean fishing, terrific hiking and horseback riding are all within 30 minutes. Don't miss the ecstatic experience of swimming with the dolphins. Take the opportunity to learn about the many Pacific Rim cultures represented on Oahu. Whatever your interest, you will find that there is too much to see and do in one or even two weeks on Oahu.

At the end of the day, you will always be glad to return to the quiet comfort of the inn. An evening BBQ on your 60 foot lanai, overlooking the sweeping 180 degree view of Kaneohe Bay and the mountains, is a great way to relax and enjoy the inn's tranquility.
