Aloha! And welcome to the Freeman Maui getaway. We have been the proud owners at The Whaler since 1979 and we hope you enjoy your future visit to paradise. The Whaler is truly a first class condominium complex located only 50 feet from the blue Hawaiian waters. For those of you who are return guests, we hope these photos will bring back many fond memories! We have also included some of our favorite spots, trip-tips and things to do when you are in Maui. It usually takes you several hours to fly to our Island and we believe it is important to stay in the best place anywhere when you arrive. Barbara, a former interior designer, art historian and now an art professor, has incorporated her expertise in designing a unique décor featuring rattan with an Asian accent. Our unit is an ocean view model with a great ocean view of Molokai and Black Rock. We are on the quiet side of the complex, perfect for relaxing, reading or enjoying the whales, turtles and the beach. Truly a "home away from home". The pool, shops and restaurants are just a few short steps away. Snorkeling and diving is fantastic with Black Rock rated as one of the best spots in the World for exotic fish, eels, eagle rays and sea turtles.
