The property is on a 2 acre site, nestled on a hill amoung the tropical vegetation, overlooking the caribbean blue ocean. Fishing and snorkling is at your doorstep. Or rent a kayak and explore. Eleuthera is one of the family islands of the Bahamas. No casinos, nightclubs, or crime. The island is safer than any place in the USA, and there are a hundred beaches to explore. It even at one time attracked Winslow Homer who spent months in the Bahamas( Eleuthera and Nassau ) painting the natural beauty.
In addition to small mom and pop restaurants, there is a small commercial fishing village(Tarpum Bay)nine miles from the house where where fish, conch, crabs, and lobster can be bought from several fishermen.
