A bed and breakfast with two rooms and a new cabina (all with private baths), Casa Mañana is well located to access the many beauties and activities of Guanacaste Province from the nearby howler monkeys, sloths, parrots, toucans and myriads of other birds to the more distant Arenal Volcano, Monteverde Cloud Forest, Pacific beaches, and national parks. A stay at Casa Mañana provides daily thrills that will inspire animated conversation each evening and wonderful memories back home. Or you can simply relax in comfortable surroundings, reading from our library, watching DVDs, or listening to CDs on our surround-sound system.
Previous guests sum it up:
"We want to thank you so much for the wonderful time we had at Casa Mañana. Your hospitality knows no bounds, and we really appreciated the time you spent with us showing us the local sights, trails, and characters in the expatriate community. Your tips on where to go and the best ways to get there were also great! Besides seeing this part of a beautiful country, we learned so much. Our only concern at this point is that no other bed and breakfast will ever measure up! We never ever had breakfasts so good and delicious!! What a service!!" Joel and Sara, NYC, 1/05
"What a wonderful introduction to Costa Rica! As beautiful and inviting as this country is, it was still Laura and Alex who made our visit so wonderful. They are warm, welcoming, gracious hosts who get our vote for 'Hosts of the Year.' We have no doubt gained a few pounds from Laura's gourmet breakfasts and surprise treats. Although we enjoyed our hikes and day trips seeing the sights, we still looked forward to coming 'home' and laughing and chatting w/ Alex and Laura.” NK, Sacramento, 11/04

“"We had a great week at Casa Manana. Our favorites were white-water kayaking (levels 2 and 3) on the Arenal River...and zip-lining with Sky Trek, 'the highest, longest and the fastest.' A close second was Las Fuentes Temales, the hot springs which are favored by the locals. Hot baths under mango tress for $8. Cannot beat that. Also Safari Corobici at Cañas. We took the 3-hour bird-watcher. Let's just say that one feels like on Discovery Channel.
"People are nice, the scenery primal, the wild life abundant. We will be back!"
