Why not treat yourself to a little bit of paradise and stay in our cozy cottage on Eleuthera? It sits on a very narrow strip of land between the Atlantic and the Caribbean side so you have panoramic views of both seas from inside and out, which is very rare on the island, as well as a refreshing breeze, even in the hottest of months. We have town water so water use is unlimited and drinkable, unlike most homes which have cistern tanks which collect rainwater.

A full porch on the dramatic Atlantic side makes for a quiet way to start the day, rocking on the front with your cup of coffee or tea, watching the amazing sunrise. On the back porch you can soak up the afternoon sun with your cool refreshing island drink, gazing out over the turquoise water and watch the sun set at day's end. At night, leave the sliding doors open to be lulled to sleep by the sound of the surf, then wake up to see the gorgeous turquoise water without lifting your head off of the pillow.

We provide all linens (400 thread count sheets), cooking utensils, many small appliances, dishes, beach gear, cell phone and many other things.

The house is centrally located on the island so it makes it quick and easy to venture out to the north or south to explore. There are beautiful sandy beaches on both bodies of water within walking distance of the cottage though we recommend that you rent an auto to explore. Discover the seclusion of beaches where you will probably never see another soul, enjoying paradise all to yourself. Take the picnic kit and the hammocks which can be hung between 2 trees anywhere.

The house is desiged with privacy in mind with a bedroom and bathroom on each end, and the living-dining area and kitchen in the middle. If it's solitude and seclusion you want, this is the place to be, or if you're looking for a family getaway then you'll discover an area with almost no traffic and plenty of sun and surf. We know you'll love the island and the area as much as we do. It really is a piece of paradise and the perfect place to soothe the soul and restore your spirit.

Use our kayaks (would cost $50/hr if you had to rent them) and bicycles to venture out on land and sea. You can't beat the tranquility and unlimited fun and access that they provide.

There are a few excellent places to eat nearby if you don't want to cook, including Seaside takeaway (great fish/chicken/rib meals at reasonable prices).
At Sunset in Gov Hbr or Joe's Bar and Grill you can get excellent conch and eat outside. They both have a full service bar. Pina Cafe has really tasty sandwiches, pizza and wraps and across the street from Pina is Buccanneers which has hot meals also. They both have ice cold beer to go with your meal or sit on the deck and enjoy one while relaxing.

If you like to explore this is the island for you. From Hatchet Bay caves (nearly a mile long), to Glass Window Bridge, to the old Navy Base near the Gov Hbr airport, to Ocean Hole, there is something for everyone. We provide you with a lot of information to help make your stay more enjoyable.

If water sports are your fun thing to do you have both of the best, the Atlantic and the Caribbean side, with great snorkeling, diving, fishing or just plain swimming within a short walk or drive.

Take the picnic kit, the insulated coolers with ice blocks and koozies, the hammocks which you can hang anywhere between 2 trees, the beach gear and set out to explore the island at your leisure. We provide everything that you will need to make a memorable vacation.
