The Hale Ali'i "House of the Chief" is located in Hale Ko’olau, a family owned & operated group of direct ocean & beach front vacation homes in Honolulu, Hawaii located in the fishing town of Hauula on Oahu's North Shore near the Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay, Sacred Falls, and many other wonderful Oahu attractions. We are located approximately 45 minutes from Honolulu International Airport on the North East coast of Oahu...where the Ko’olau Mountains touch the Pacific Ocean. Our community of single family homes, small shops, and quaint restaurants is very different from the high rise retail/ tourist center of Waikiki. With hiking trails and unspoiled reefs, we offer a glimpse of the Oahu of yesteryear with convenient access to the night life and modern pleasures of Honolulu & Waikiki. No matter what your budget or requirements we have a wonderful ocean front vacation home to match your needs.

The Hale Ali'i is a fully air conditioned direct oceanfront vacation rental home on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii and offers impressive views from one end of Hauula bay to the other with the beautiful Koolau Mountains beyond. This is a spacious (1,500+ sf living area) two bedroom, two bath duplex vacation home with porcelain tile & marble floors throughout. The Hale Ali'i features a complete, large and open modern kitchen with porcelain tile countertops, sealed top stove/range, built-in microwave, side by side fridge, dishwasher, and all the cooking utensils you need to prepare complete meals. The living area is richly decorated with warm tropical & plantation style furniture and enjoys breath-taking ocean views. There is a queen size futon in the "bonus" Soji (Japanese style) room which allows this vacation rental to accomodate up to 6 guests, in addition to a separate dining room with seating for six. The master suite is furnished with elegant and tropical teak furniture and a Sealy pillow-top queen size mahogany sleigh bed. The master bath features black marble floors and a unique moss rock wall shower. The second bedroom also has a Sealy pillow-top queen size bed and heavy teak and tropical furniture for an elegant feel. Both bedrooms have individually controlled, ultra quiet, mini-split air conditioning & tropical ceiling fans although they are rarely needed as this home enjoys cool tropical breezes year around.

Hale Koolau is a member of the Hawaii Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating and rated "excellent" on Trip Advisor.

Our rates are based upon the number of nights you stay, with 3 nights minimum.

For reservations of Nightly:

3 nights or more $249.99
5 nights or more $224.99
7 nights or more $199.99

We charge a flat rate of $2,100.00 for reservations covering Christmas or New Year's Holiday. This rate covers up to 7 nights. Additional nights are billed at the normal nightly rate. Christmas reservations must vacate by December 29 and New Years reservations cannot arrive earlier than December 29. Reservations which include both Christmas and New Years are billed a flat rate of $4,200.00 and cover up to 14 nights. Additional nights are billed at the normal rate.

All rates quoted are based upon four (4) person occupancy and are charged based upon the number of nights you stay.

Absolute minimum requirement for booking a reservation is three (3) nights.

Minimum requirement for Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving, Easter and BYU Graduation (Spring) is 7 nights.

Minimum requirement for Memorial Day, Labor Day and Fourth of July is 5 nights.

Add $15.99 daily charge for each additional guest over four (4) person occupancy up to a maximum of six (6) people, including children over 1 year of age.

One (1) parking stall is provided per vacation rental. Extra parking may be ordered through our secure online reservations system.

Add a one-time, non-refundable, $100.00 cleaning fee to all reservations.
