The Ehu Kai "Sea Spray" is located in Hale Ko’olau, a family owned & operated group of direct ocean & beach front vacation homes in Honolulu, Hawaii located in the fishing town of Hauula on Oahu's North Shore near the Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay, Sacred Falls, and many other wonderful Oahu attractions. We are located approximately 45 minutes from Honolulu International Airport on the North East coast of Oahu...where the Ko’olau Mountains touch the Pacific Ocean. Our community of single family homes, small shops, and quaint restaurants is very different from the high rise retail/ tourist center of Waikiki. With hiking trails and unspoiled reefs, we offer a glimpse of the Oahu of yesteryear with convenient access to the night life and modern pleasures of Honolulu & Waikiki. The Ehu Kai “Seaspray” studio is directly on the ocean and is completely air conditioned. This is a spacious (500+ sf living area) duplex studio, one bath suite with ceramic tile floors throughout. The Ehu Kai Kitchen & Bath were both completely remodeled early November 2006. The open kitchen has maple cabinetry and granite countertops, a full size stove/range, built-in microwave, full size fridge, and all the cooking utensils you need to prepare complete meals. The kitchen opens to the living area with a convenient breakfast bar/nook. The living area is richly decorated with warm tropical & plantation style furniture and enjoys direct ocean views. There is a queen size futon and teak dining table in the living area, all illuminated by a large sky light. The Ehu Kai has a queen size bed just 20 feet away from the gentle surf. This suite enjoys wonderful tropical breezes year around, however there is a ceiling fan in addition to central air conditioning.
