We are located approximately 45 minutes from Honolulu International Airport on the North East coast of Oahu...where the Ko’olau Mountains touch the Pacific Ocean. Our community of single family homes, small shops, and quaint restaurants is very different from the high rise retail/ tourist center of Waikiki. With hiking trails and unspoiled reefs, we offer a glimpse of the Oahu of yesteryear with convenient access to the night life and modern pleasures of Honolulu & Waikiki. The Ko'olani Kai is a direct ocean & beachfront vacation rental home on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii and offers breathtaking ocean & mountain views from every room. This spacious (1200+ sf living area) air-conditioned 2 bedroom, 1 bath duplex vacation home features a recently remodeled kitchen with granite countertops with full size stove/range, dishwasher, built-in microwave, side by side fridge, and all the cooking utensils you need to prepare complete meals. The kitchen opens to the living area with a convenient breakfast bar/nook. The living area is richly decorated with warm tropical & plantation style furniture and enjoys wrap-around breath-taking ocean views. There are two queen size sleeper sofas in the living room which allows this vacation rental to accommodate up to 8 guests, in addition to a dining area with mahogany dinner table & seating for four - you'll love the hand carved pineapple dining chairs. The master bedroom has wrap-around ocean & mountain views and is furnished with elegant and tropical teak furniture with a Sealy pillow-top queen size bed. The second bedroom also has a Sealy pillow-top queen size bed and heavy teak and tropical furniture for an elegant feel. All areas of the home have ceiling fans and individually controlled ultra-quite mini-split air conditioning, however they are rarely necessary as this vacation home enjoys wonderful tropical breezes year around.
