The 16 metre swimming pool is built into the side of the mountain and follows the natural curves of the environment to enhance the rural characteristics of the farm. From here there are picturesque views of the valley and surrounding villages.

The village of San Marcello Pistoiese is 650 metres above sea level and it is at five minute drive to the farmhouse (1 km of gravel street), 30 minute drive to Pistoia and Lucca and 50 minutes drive to Florence, making it easy to enjoy leisurely day trips to the artistic centres of Italy.

You may also take advantage of the local country side, by for example treking, cycling, horse riding or paragliding for spectacular aerial views.
