Marrakech offers 3 superb golf courses. The first and the oldest, the Royal golf now known as the Palmeraie Golf, was built in 1920 and opened in 1923. It is located at a stone's throw distance of La Lune d'Or. The 18-hole, 6214 yards, par 72 course was designed by the international master Robert Trent Jones Sr. The golf course is dotted with 7 lakes and covers beautiful fairways among palm trees with an unforgettable panorama of the high Atlas mountains. It's club house is sumptuous and offers all facilities.

In addition to this course there are 2 additional courses in Marrakech; the Amelkis Golf and the Royal Golf, both also 18 holes and both are in close proximity to La Lune d'Or.
