Mission Beach offers you a 2 mile resort peninsula on the Pacific Ocean. You have the ocean on one side. The ocean flows at the bottom of the peninsula filling the massive bay area on the other side. The bay side is the more peaceful side of Mission Beach. This is a most unique peninsula because it is flat, allowing biking, roller blading, running, and walking on miles of newly paved boardwalk. While enjoying your exercise, you are always water front because the peninsula is surrounded on three sides by the great Pacific Ocean.

The bay side is 90 steps from the ocean side and offers the same sandy beach and boardwalk. From your condo, you are 6 steps from the sand and view ocean water, sailboats and palm trees. At night enjoy the evening lights reflecting from a distance on the bay. Oh yes, you are right across from Sea World and can enjoy the summer nightly fireworks from your private patio. Staying on the bay, you have the best of both worlds! The excitement of the ocean side
and serenity of the bay.

Mission Beach is the closest beach community to the San Diego downtown area which also includes the airport, the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park and Old Town. The driving time is approximately 15 minutes. We are 5 minutes from Sea World and 10 minutes to La Jolla. You can walk to shops and restaurants.

You are assured of being only steps away from the sand & water as the unique peninsula is between 1 and 2 blocks wide.

The condo is managed by the owner living in San Diego. Quality and attention to detail is of great concern. We realize friends and families have little cherished time together and certainly want your experience to be pleasurable. The condo is very clean, well equipped and well maintained. It is not a typical beach rental because of close attention by the owner to provide a home away from home for our guests.

The kitchen has all built-ins including a side by side refrigerator with ice maker, oven with 4 electric burners, microwave, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. The white appliances match the white European cabinets. There is a toaster, coffee maker, coffee grinder, salad spinner, and blender. We have good Henkel knives and everything else a well working kitchen needs. All the dishes match and there is a service for 12 with nice large coffee mugs. There is even a shell detail on the stainless steel flatwear. Dish detergent, foil, plastic wrap and trash liners are included.

The furnishings and linens are upscale and carefully chosen to create a thoughtfully decorated home throughout and at the same time being durable for everyday living. The colors are soft and neutral allowing a serene flow. The couch is a rafia frame with nice deep seating and down back cushions. The slipcover cushions allow for easy replacement by the owner to ensure cleanliness for each guest. The dining chairs match the couch. There is a feaux stone base below the glasstop dining table that matches the coffee table. The connection of like materials helps the rooms to flow together to create cohesiveness and continuity. Ceiling can lights on dimmers throughout the condo create a nice ambience

Martha Stewart allergy mattress sleeves are on the mattresses in addition to fluffy mattress covers and pillow protectors for that extra step of protection and cleanliness for our guests. Cotton sheets and duvets adorn each bed.

The master suite has a private deck with glass balustrades for an unobstructed beach and water view through a wall of glass. Enjoy the king-sized pillow top bed with private bath, double sinks, jacuzzi tub, and walk-in closet. There is a television and CD player behind closed doors and ceiling can lights above the bed on dimmer switches for easy reading in bed.

The other two bedrooms also have a deck. Both beds are queen-sized. Both rooms have tasteful linens and televisions with either a VCR or DVD player.

There are four televisions in the condo and two are flat screen tvs. We have 2 DVDs and 2 VCRs, 2 CD players, cordless phones, and complimentary wireless internet available. There is a private garage, fireplace, gas barbecue on a nicely tiled island, ground level patio and outdoor heated shower. The ground level patio also includes table, chairs and market umbrella. We also have air conditioning which is not that common here at the beach, but a nice amenitiy. The condo is light and bright with lots of privacy.

We have beach chairs, beach toys and games for your enjoyment.

All of San Diego's famed attractions are within a short-drive: Sea World, The World Famous San Diego Zoo (complete with Pandas), Wild Animal Park, Old Town, San Diego Gaslamp District, Seaport Village, Lego Land, Balboa Park, a host of golf courses, tennis, fine arts, winerys, spa services, wining, dining. dancing and entertainment.

Many sporting activities are at your fingertips including kayaking, sailing, swimming, surfing and motor boat rentals available. Don't miss the wave machine at Belmont Park where you rent wave time for surfing or just watch others. There is also a famous roller coaster at Belmont Park and electronic game room.
