Oceanfront South Mission Beach Penthouse

View from the dining area and living room. There is another sliding glass door to the left but my camera could not capture all 4 views. Jacuzzi tub in the master bath accomodates 2 people. There is also another separate shower with his and her shower heads and a skylight not seen in this view of the room. The toliet is in another room with a another skylight. The leaded glass highlight in the kitchen is decorated with humming birds and the kitchen has microwave, self-cleaning oven and gas stovetop and has juicer, blender, and all the items that I have in my own kitchen. The second bedroom has its own TV and a lovely rug next to the twin beds. The twin beds and the leaded glass in the second bedroom.
The liviing room is large and features a skylight and a leaded glasss triangle and views! Leaded glass in the TV alcove in the living room Master bedroom is about 17 feet by 14 feet with three large closets one having a mirrored door. The room boasts a cable TV and a balcony (not seen in this photo). Private patio with rock garden behind it, and built in gas BBQ to the left, and sand in front. The garden hosts daisies, birds of paradise, and a collection of succulents one of which a young guests mistook for roses. The second bathroom is tiled with cobalt blue accents and has a sink not seen in the photo. The sink is located next to the toilet behind the wall in this photo.
Oceanfront South Mission Vacation Rental Beach Penthouse Condo
Property Description
We bought the oceanfront property in February of 1998 and remodeled it in March and April and again in December of 2006. There are only 2 units in the building. We live downstairs and rent our penthouse.



The penthouse vacation rental is lovely and features: 2 oceanfront balconies, a private downstairs oceanfront patio with built-in gas barbecue chaise longues, table and chairs, 12 foot ceilings in parts, 4 sky lights, 4 decorative leaded glass windows (one of humming birds, one of fish and two of ocean scenes), Italian tile throughout, 3 TVs connected to cable and one VCR and DVD, very special bathrooms (master with both a whirlpool tub and a separate shower with his and her shower heads), large master bedroom (14 feet by 17 feet), all linens and towels (beach towels too), an in-unit washer and dryer, a private 2 car garage with in tandem parking for two cars, a very well-equipped kitchen (microwave, dishwasher, disposal, an Omega juicer, coffee grinder, food processor, fondue pot etc.), and (my favorite) a dining area surrounded by nearly 180 degrees of glass with panoramic views so that it is like being outside inside.

We have a very child friendly environment with covers on all the unused electric outlets, a high chair, beach toys (pails, shovels, balls, Frisbees), and children's books (Dr. Seuss) and some videos.

By the by, the unit is 1300 square feet (this is "large" for an oceanfront unit), and is 2 bedroom (Cal king size bed in master and two twins beds in the other bedroom), 2 bath, sleeping 6. We are environmentally conscious and use no toxic pesticides or harsh cleaning chemicals.

Our guests tell me that the unit is much nicer than the pictures suggest because the pictures do not capture the spaciousness, light and airy feeling.

The address of our home is 2645/47 Ocean Front Walk and it is located in South Mission Beach, well south of Belmont Park. North Mission is more crowded. South Mission is more spacious and built about 10 years ago.
