Perched over the streets of old Paris, this corner apartment offers a glimpse of worlds past and all the bustling life of today's Marais. Held within 400-year old stone walls, topped with original wooden beams, the atmosphere is distinctly Parisian. The apartment was completely remodeled in 2004 to create a warm, open, comfortable home in the center of Paris. Nestled in the Northern part of the Marais, it is near all the tourist sights of Paris, but it is also surrounded by one of the true old neighborhoods, alive with markets and small shops. Romantic and real, the apartment sleeps four easily and is equipped with all modern conveniences.

The bedroom has a luxurious queen sized bed that can also be made up as two single beds. It has been decorated for comfort and style with slate floors a large built-in closet and down bedding.

Bathroom

Enjoy a bath or a shower in this charming bathroom that is both rustic and luxurious. Unique touches include tomette floors and antique Venetian mirror and the diffuse light from the window. Thick towels a washer and dryer (stacked)towel warmer/heater and a hair dryer add convenience and comfort.

Main Room

This will be the room you live in. In the evening light when the low sun bounces off the ceiling beams to warm the stone walls when the view from the corner window stretches the length of rue de Gravelliers the full charm of the apartment and of Paris is irresistible. The original stone has been uncovered the beams gleam and the three large windows open onto the narrow streets below. After a visit to the local markets cook in the fully equipped open kitchen with its slate counter tops and new appliances. Eat or just sit and watch the people go by below from the true perch of the table in the corner flanked by windows. Relax read in the large chair and sofa or should you choose to turn on the flat screen TV with its many cable options or surf the web thanks to the wireless Internet Wifi connection. The sofa pulls out to a comfortable bed that can easily sleep two.

The open kitchen has all you need to make a quick breakfast or to cook a full dinner. It is equipped with an electric stove top and oven; dishwasher; microwave; refrigerator with small freezer; a selection of pots pans and cooking utensils; place settings for six; electric coffee pot; stove top espresso maker; toaster.

Activities & Attractions
There is no more desirable place for the perfect Parisian experience from sunny, outdoor brasseries to the latest shopping on Rue des Francs Bourgeois to romantic walks along the Seine River. The building is close to many historic and cultural places of interest including the Place des Vosges, the Picasso Museum and the Musee Carnavalet, a museum dedicated to the history of Paris.
