Villa Pelicano is described as the “mansion” of Manuel Antonio and a landmark of the town with its walled entrance featuring giant hand-painted Pelicans. As your private gate opens you will drive down a palmed lined driveway to your 5 acre retreat. Upon entering the home the 2 story cathedral ceilings will awe you as will the enormous size of the living, dining, verandas, pool, bedrooms, baths and walk in closets.

The first four rooms are all masters, each with King Size bed, high ceilings, spacious areas, with glass sliders allowing you to feel the fresh breezes off of the ocean. There is a Jacuzzi tub to pamper you, air conditioning to keep you cool, large verandas to take in the panoramic views and to see the monkeys and other various types of wildlife passing through the trees. The fifth bedroom features three double beds, air conditioning, private seating area, and veranda facing the jungle. The sixth bedroom has one double bed, air conditioning, and veranda facing the jungle.

The living room has two-story cathedral ceiling and wraparound balcony, Costa Rican modern art, Satellite TV, VCR, stereo and CD player. The second level of the home is wide open with extra seating area, a balcony looking out over the ocean, beaches and rainforest below you.

You will find the perfect spot to cool off is in the expansive, olympic size swimming pool with its cushioned lounge chairs and shade umbrellas. The grounds are secured by a wall and security gate plus there is a carport and a spacious parking area. Staff is on the premises in a separate servant’s house located near the entrance to the estate with 2 maids and caretaker.
Villa Pelicano provides you with a complete vacation retreat. The full time staff includes maid service 7 days a week and full time Concierge Manager to coordinate transportation from the airport, arrange all tour and spa reservations and assist with all of your needs. The home is supplied with all the amenities you would enjoy at home, including; phone lines, , Direct TV, fine sheets and towels, full kitchenware, a stereo with CD player, and much more. Also included is a special guide to all of the area’s best tours as well as information and directions to the finest (or most interesting) restaurants, places, and beaches.
