Experience a very special vacation in a classic Spanish villa in the gated community of Playa Ocotal on the picturesque Gulf of Papagayo.
Just 30 minutes from the Liberia International Airport, Villa Vista Mar is approximately 300 yards uphill from the sea. The crescent shaped beach is encircled by forested hills which are home to howler monkeys, iguanas, parrots, and many other tropical birds. From the villa, you can view the off-shore islands, Santa Rosa National Park, Volcano Orosi, and more.

Our 3 attractive one-bedroom apartments may be rented individually or in any combination.
*Apartment 3, the largest apartment, has two queen size beds in the large bedroom.
* Apartment 2, the medium-sized apartment, has a queen size bed in the bedroom and a futon that opens into a comfortable double bed in the living area.
* Apartment 1, the smallest apartment, has two single beds in the bedroom.
Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, private bath, dining area, outdoor balcony and air-conditioning.
The kitchens have stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster and cooking utensils. Bedding and linens are supplied but we do ask that you bring beach towels for poolside or beach. All apartments have cable TV a radio/CD player, hairdryer, and personal safe.
The outdoor amenities include a large swimming pool, jacuzzi, outdoor shower, changing room/bathroom and attractive tropical gardens. The open-aired rancho has a dining area, kitchen, barbeque grill, and a washer and dryer.
Playa Ocotal is primarily residentialwith elegant private homes dotting the hillsides. There is also a very nice resort hotelrestaurant and dive shop. There is also a casual bar and restaurant right on the beach. Boats in the harbor are available for deep-sea fishing, diving, sailing, snorkeling and sight-seeing. The nearby beach and town of Playas del Coco, 2 miles north, has restaurants and shops, a large grocery store, bank, post office, medical and dental offices, internet cafes, discos and more. The charming city of Liberia, population 45,000, is a 40 minute drive away.
