Property Description
When you stay with us, you have many creature comforts. Your cabin is 1400 square feet of completely modern living space which includes a well supplied kitchen, three large bedrooms and two full baths, one each on the upper and lower levels. The cabin is heated by electricity which is the cleanest, safest source of heat we could come up with.
The bad news for some is that this is a non-smoking facility so for those who indulge they must do so outdoors. Smoking is allowed in the unattached bunkhouse so for a small fee it can be heated in winter so that smokers can do their thing in reasonable comfort.
The whole upper level has limited wheelchair accessibility. The one upstairs bedroom has a double and a single bed with the large bathroom right next door. The rest of the upper level is one large room with kitchen, dining and living areas all in one. This makes for a very relaxed atmosphere where, no matter what your activity, you are still a part of the group.
The kitchen has all major appliances plus all the cooking utensils, dish towels and eating utensils that you may need.
The lower level has a large living area with two sleeper sofas and two large bedrooms with twin beds. The downstairs bath has a stand up shower and a washer and dryer.
The living area has TV with two local channels, VCR with a variety of VHS movies and a DVD player (bring your own DVD's).
All the bedrooms are supplied with the required bedding and both bathrooms have towels supplied.
There is a 240 square foot deck attached to the front of the upper level where you can sit and watch the geese and ducks on the pond while you are barbecuing your steaks and burgers on the gas B-B-Q. Below the deck is a 200 square foot patio at the front of the lower level If you want to cook the old fashioned way there is a fire pit out front and the kids can play in the sandbox(tire) until lunch is ready.
If you are part of a large group there is the previously mentioned little red bunkhouse out back. It has two sets of bunk beds, a table that folds against the wall, a small fridge and electric heat.
Unfortunately, it isn't plumbed so you will have to use the washrooms in the main cabin.
As for activities, there is much to do in the area surrounding us. Hunting, fishing, down hill skiing, swimming, snowmobiling, ice skating, golfing, local and wilderness tours and much more can be arranged in their respective seasons. Some activities are optional at extra cost and some are part of the deal. Please get in touch with us for information on specific activities that may be available.
If any problems arise, we live nearby so a short walk and a knock on our door will bring quick relief, (just like aspirin).

Special Features
The upper level of the main cabin is wheelchair accessable. The cabin was not designed for persons with severe disabilities and any caregivers should contact us about the facility before booking.
Anyone flying in to Saskatoon can be picked up either by us or by a limosine service.
Catering can be provided for groups of 8 or more.
There is a 13 acre pond with a canoe provided. you can bring jife jackets or rentals can be arranged.
We have some hiking trail completed with more roughed in if you are the toughoutdoorsy type.
