You'll love the stunning 180-degree view of the South River, just off the Chesapeake Bay near Annapolis. The location is incredible. Just six miles from Annapolis and the United States Naval Academy. The home is 15 miles from Baltimore/Washington International Airport and 40 minutes to Washington, D.C. (15 miles to the nearest Metro stop). The home feels so secluded yet it is just minutes away from great restaurants, shopping and marinas. The house is in a quaint, quiet neighborhood, perfect for evening strolls and morning walks. You immediately forget how close you are to so many major conveniences, Route 50 and 97.
The large entertainment deck overlooks the South River (great for viewing Annapolis fireworks). It's perfect for cookouts, relaxing with a good book and savoring your morning coffee. Stairs lead down to your own private pier and boat lift. You'll love crabbing off the pier, swimming, sunbathing or just watching the abundant waterfowl. A community boat launch is also available as is a community beach and pier.
The house is beautifully decorated with hardwood floors, open architecture and waterviews from the livingroom/kitchen and master bedroom. Take a five minute walk or boat ride to Mike's and enjoy steamed crabs and an ice cold beer from the outside deck.
This vacation get-away is perfect for Naval Academy football game weekends, year-round vacations, family reunions and even serves as a quiet retreat after a day of sightseeing in Washington, D.C., and Baltimore.

There are few parts of the country with so many wonderful things to do so close at hand. Of course, there is Annapolis, with the Maryland State Capitol, the U.S. Naval Academy, Eastport, street after street of historic homes and the lovely, scenic city harbor. The Chesapeake Bay lifestyle is renown for boating, fishing, crabbing, swimming, waterskiing, jetskiing and just relaxing with friends and family with cold beverages and a bushel of steamed crabs. Thomas Point Park and Quiet Waters Park offer more family fun featuring unsurpassed views of the Bay.
Day trips to Washington, D.C., are easy to do, and visitors there are rewarded with so many national museums, monuments and historical attractions which, in most cases, are free. Baltimore is another easy day trip, with the Inner Harbor, Fells Point, Little Italy, and plenty of Orioles and Ravens game action. Drive across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and head for the beaches of Maryland and Delaware, which are closer than 100 miles away.
You'll run out of time before you run out of things to do.
