Entertainment at Mountain Vista:
Dish Network Satellite Television Service with Top 200 Channels: 40' HDTV in the media/game room which includes DVD Player, surround sound, and HBO. 27' TV Located on Main Level Den w/ DVD/VCR/DISH/HBO. 27' TV Located in Master Suite w/ DVD/DISH/HBO. 12' TV in Kids play 'cave' is available for video games. A DVD/VCR Movie Collection is provided for viewing with both children and older themes, including New Releases. The game table is a professional 7N1 table, which includes Monopoly, Scrabble, Backgammon, Chess, Checkers and Yatzhee board games. Additional collection of Board games, jigsaw puzzles, and paperback books are also available.

Fireplaces at Mountain Vista:
(2) Wood burning fireplaces provide the ambiance you come to expect from this type of home, one located in Den, and the other out on the patio. Firewood and starter bricks are provided for use in both fireplaces. The Forest is the only thing you see when sitting on the screened patio listening to the crackling of the fire on any night during the year.

Grilling Out at Mountain Vista:
(2) Styles of Outdoor Grills at Mountain Vista. Both a large propane grill and side burner, as well as a Weber Charcoal grill, with plenty of platters and grilling utensils. No matter your taste in grilling, we have the tools to get the job done. Charcoal and lighter fluid are sometimes left behind by the previous renter, however not guaranteed, both can be purchased at the general store or grocery store outside the entrance of Big Canoe.

Golf:
Rated among the top 20 best golf courses in Georgia by Golf Digest, the Sconti golf course was designed by John Lee; recognized as one of America's most respected golf course architects. The challenging 27-hole course weaves through lakes, woods, mountain meadows, and covered bridges. Open all year to residents and guests of Big Canoe, the green's fees vary from weekday to weekend, depending on Prime Season (April through November, and Holiday weekends) and off-season for those staying as a guest in our home. Cart rental and soft spikes are mandatory. Dress code requires shirts with a collar, and no jeans. The Sconti Golf Club also has a putting green and driving range. Big Canoe Resort is a privately gated community in the North Georgia Mountains, only 1 hour North of Atlanta. All Guests have the privledge of using all the amenities when staying in the resort, which include: General Store, Full Fitness Center, 27 Championship Holes of Golf, (3) Lakes, (2) Outdoor Pools, (1) Indoor Pool, Outdoor Beach Volleyball, paddle boats, Canoes, and a rock slide are nearby within walking distance to this Mountain Vista Home. Additionally, there is Full Softball field, Bocce Ball courts, Basketball, Soccer, Hiking, Waterfalls, Fishing, Pontoon Boating, Outlet Mall Shopping, Indoor and Outdoor Tennis, Jacuzzi, and Sauna. A brand new Club House finished in July 2008 that offers guests brunch and dinners, with nightly specials, and the Black Bear Pub.

Up to 3 weddings at a time can be catered on site, in its non-denominational chapel, various venues, and clubhouse. Live Concerts and other entertainment events are offered during the year.
