Many private owners advertise they are located near the Four Season’s Punta Mita Resort, however UNLESS their property is WITHIN THE GATES of the Punta Mita Resort development, they will not be able to play any of the 3 golf courses (36 holes); or use the Clubhouse, tennis courts, or enjoy the Resident's Beach Club (which shares the same beach as the Four Season's Hotel, and is equipped with full restaurant, 2 pools, hammocks, kayaks, children's playground area and massage cabanas. All of these facilities are available to our guests, and are only a 3-MINUTE DRIVE or a 15-minute walk from our condo.

NOT ALL HDM CONDOS are the same. Ours is 1 OF ONLY 4 CONDOS LOCATED ON THE OCEAN that have patios 25% larger than the other 29-oceanfront condos, and we are on the 3rd floor; and, the other 3 condos with over-sized patios are NOT AVAILABLE FOR RENT. The best view of downtown Vallarta is from the oceanfront condos on the 3rd and 4th floors, and including ours, only 5 of these condos are available for rent. The first floor condos have no privacy and do not have views of downtown Vallarta.

Your golf cart can be fully equipped with both headlights and taillights so you can travel safely at night, and can be used to access the 2 Punta Mita Resort Resident’s beach clubs, the St. Regis and Four Seasons resorts, the 3 GOLF COURSES, all of which are only available to our guests or residents of Punta Mita Resort. You can also access the village of Anclote next door, and your golf cart (or rental car) can be parked in our UNDERGROUND GARAGE WITH 2 SPACES designated for our condo only, with full electric hook up, and only steps away from our front door.


If you‘re a golfer, your vacation just got better. Guests of our condo can enjoy any of the amazing 3 Jack Nicklaus Signature golf courses, featuring the famous "tail of the whale" hole, a 170-210 yard carry to the only natural island green in the world; and once you hit your ball, you’re escorted to the green in an amphibious golf cart, as the cart path is under water at high tide - an amazing experience. Our guests also receive a reduced rate on green fees.


Describe why you chose to buy a vacation rental in this location
Punta Mita is the most scenic and tranquil community in Mexico. Multiple beaches in walking distance from the condo; golf, tennis and fitness facilities available.

We chose to buy a second home in Punta Mita for several reasons. First was the close proximity to the United States. Secondly, we fell in love with the graciousness of the people. Punta Mita is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world. You can either escape it all and be pampered in complete luxury or you can fill your days with adventure such as surfing, golf, scuba, canopy tours, polo, or swimming with the dolphins. It is a safe location with a charming village just adjacent to our development. We can walk to beach-front restaurants and many shops. While we can experience the charm of Mexico, we can also be pampered by the luxury of the nearby Four Seasons and St. Regis resorts. It truly is the best of both worlds! It is a place that we want our children to grow up being a small part of, and creating many, lasting memories.

We had looked at properties in Cabo and Puerto Vallarta before visting Punta Mita and falling in love with it. We chose to buy in Punta Mita because it has great golf, great beaches, it is low density, upscale, private and secure. We enjoy having the small village in Punta Mita for good restaurants and excursions, and we do not have to drive and deal with traffic like in Puerto Vallarta and other large tourist destinations. We were very excited to buy property here and are very comfortable knowing our children can grow up coming here.


Describe some of the unique benefits you enjoy while staying at your property

What sets our home apart from all of the rest is its spectacular view, along with incredible furnishings, antiques, and art work from around the world. Our condo is the only one in all of Hacienda de Mita that has its own unique special lighting fixtures throughout, which give it very dramatic lighting at night. In addition, ours is the only beachfront condominium development located WITHIN the gates of Punta Mita, a guarded luxurious private resort. The all glass sliding living room doors open and are hidden in the side walls leaving a 20 foot opening onto the patio with spectacular views of the ocean, downtown Puerto Vallarta, the Marietta Islands, and the 4 private pools located on the manicured lawns down below and in front of the patio. The location of our condo at Hacienda de Mita is perfect. We are less than a two-minute walk to the town of Punta de Mita where "restaurant row", an assortment of beachfront restaurants serving wonderful cuisine in a laid-back, "tables in the sand" atmosphere awaits. There are a total of nine restaurants, each of them directly on the beach. If you prefer not to walk (or don't want to rent a car during your stay) as stated we can arrange for you to rent a golf cart at only $60 per day, which you can easily take anywhere within the gates (i.e The Four Seasons, Golf courses, Resident's beach clubs) or to the town of Punta de Mita next door. It is fully equipped with both headlights and taillights so you can travel safely at night.

FROM A RECENT GUEST WHO STAYED IN OUR HOME IN DECEMBER 2009:

From start to finish, everything was first class. This third floor luxury condo was ‘beary’ spacious, beautifully decorated, comfortably furnished and totally equipped. The main living area had a breezy, open floor plan which included a gourmet kitchen, family room and dining area. The largest wall was made up of floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors that opened out onto an expansive deck. From the deck, the view of the beach and ocean was spectacular. The interior surroundings and oceanfront scenery were the perfect setting for relaxation. This bear family slept very comfortably in the large and stylishly furnished bedrooms which featured marble bathrooms.

The condo building was located in a private setting inside of the gates of the exclusive Punta Mita Resort. We stayed here in Four Seasons’ style for a fraction of the cost and had direct access to a beautiful beach. The location was so ideal that we reached the beach and private pools within 60 seconds of leaving the front door.

Punta Mita was the perfect place for a family vacation and the condo’s convenient location makes the most of everything that the neighborhood has to offer. The town of Punta Mita and a variety of excellent restaurants were less than a 5 minute walk away. We enjoyed relaxed, local dining at a string of superb restaurants on the beach in the town of Punta Mita. Our favorite places to eat included Sufi and Café des Artistes. 

Owner Kim Henrie was super helpful and friendly. He made us feel very welcome at this outstanding property and offered great advice on the best places to visit during our vacation. As part of our stay, we had access to a full concierge service that helped us organize terrific excursions including horseback riding, snorkeling and whale watching. It was very exciting to see a couple of humpback whales close up from our boat! Our condo stay also included residence club membership privileges and we indulged in a range of sensibly priced, relaxing spa services, all in a comfortable and private beach setting. 

The climate here was unbeatable. The weather in March was absolutely perfect with blue sunny skies and highs in the 80’s everyday. We had a fantastic time and hope to return again soon!
