The Molokai has quality teak & wood furnishings for an elegant tropical feel.
The Molokai kitchen has maple cabinets with granite counter tops, a refrigerator, a sealed top stove, and a microwave. The bathroom was remodeled with elegant fixtures. An endangered Hawaiian Monk Seal rests on the beach near Hale Koolau.

Enjoy this oceanfront deck with hot tub, which is next to a hot/cold outdoor shower. Next to the hot tub are custom-made stone BBQ pits so you can enjoy a tropical picnic. Your studio has a tiled lanai which opens to our tropical courtyard with BBQ pits.

The Molokai oceanside studio is located in Hale Ko’olau, a family owned & operated group of direct ocean & beach front vacation homes in Honolulu, Hawaii located in the fishing town of Hauula on Oahu's North Shore near the Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay, Sacred Falls, and many other wonderful Oahu attractions. We are located approximately 45 minutes from Honolulu International Airport on the North East coast of Oahu...where the Ko’olau Mountains touch the Pacific Ocean. Our community of single family homes, small shops, and quaint restaurants is very different from the high rise retail/ tourist center of Waikiki. With hiking trails and unspoiled reefs, we offer a glimpse of the Oahu of yesteryear with convenient access to the night life and modern pleasures of Honolulu & Waikiki. No matter what your budget or requirements we have a wonderful ocean front vacation home to match your needs.

The Molokai, named after our neighbor island which can sometimes be seen from our property, is an air conditioned direct beach side vacation rental on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii and offers ocean views from inside the suite & on your private tiled lanai. The Molokai is just 80 feet from the beach where you'll enjoy impressive views from one end of Hauula bay to the other with the beautiful Koolau Mountains beyond. The Molokai is an affordable hotel-room size vacation rental studio (300+ sf) with private bath and large tiled lanai overlooking our courtyard & ocean beyond. The Molokai features a remodeled and modern kitchen with granite countertops, stove/range, microwave, fridge, and all the cooking utensils you nead to prepare complete meals. The dining area, located on your adjacent private tiled lanai, has a table & seating for four with lovely ocean views. Beyond your lanai is a courtyard with custom made stone BBQ pits, a hot tub, and a hot+cold outdoor shower. The living area of this vacation rental is richly decorated with warm tropical & plantation style furniture and enjoys ocean views. The Molokai has a queen size bed with new Sealy pillow top mattress, TV armoire, and dining area for two. The recently remodeled bath features a large shower & pedestal sink. The suite has ultra quite mini-split airconditioning with remote and a ceiling fan although it is rarely needed as this vacation rental enjoys cool tropical breezes year around.

Hale Koolau is a member of the Hawaii Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating and rated "excellent" on Trip Advisor.

Our rates are based upon the number of nights you stay, with 3 nights minimum.

For reservations of: Nightly:

We charge a flat rate of $1,120.00 for reservations covering Christmas or New Year's Holiday. This rate covers up to 7 nights. Additional nights are billed at the normal nightly rate. Christmas reservations must vacate by December 29 and New Years reservations cannot arrive earlier than December 29. Reservations which include both Christmas and New Years are billed a flat rate of $2,240.00 and cover up to 14 nights. Additional nights are billed at the normal rate.

All rates quoted are based upon two (2) person occupancy and are charged based upon the number of nights you stay.

Absolute minimum requirement for booking a reservation is three (3) nights.

Minimum requirement for Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving, Easter and BYU Graduation (Spring) is 7 nights.

Minimum requirement for Memorial Day, Labor Day and Fourth of July is 5 nights.

Maximum occupancy for this suite is 2 persons, no exceptions.

One (1) parking stall is provided per vacation rental unless stated otherwise. Extra parking may be ordered through our secure online reservations system.

A one-time, non-refundable $60.00 cleaning fee is added to all reservations.
