Welcome to The Kahunas at Windansea - our three ocean-close condos just steps to the wondrous Windansea Beach in beautiful La Jolla, Ca. This 3-story whitewashed triplex in the heart of Windansea offers you two fully-equipped 2-bedroom condos and a studio penthouse condo. Each with parking and easy beach access.

The Grand Kahuna and Big Kahuna are our 2-Bedroom, 2-Bath, (each sleeps 7) ocean-close, nicely-appointed condos with ocean and sunset views and beach access just around the corner!

The Little Kahuna is our Studio Penthouse (sleeps 4) at Windansea - which also offers exceptional ocean and sunset views and is just around the corner from beautiful Windansea Beach.

The Big Kahuna is our 2-bedroom, 2-bath, 1,000 sq. ft. condo located on the 2nd (middle) floor. The Big Kahuna (sleeps 7) sits high enough to provide excellent ocean and sunset views. The Grand Kahuna is located on the ground floor and offers ocean views and a spacious patio. The Grand Kahuna also sleeps 7.

On your ocean view patio (for both the Grand and Big Kahunas) you'll find a table and chairs for your use to enjoy breakfast overlooking the ocean, or a romantic, candlelit dinner or you can simply take in the sunset with cocktails in hand!

Upon entering the Grand Kahuna and Big Kahuna, you'll find family-friendly furnishings - comfortable sofa (queen size sleeper sofa) and chair, table and chairs, television, DVD player and, of course, ocean views right through the large sliding patio doors. Enjoy Windansea's cool breezes or turn on the air conditioning... it's your vacation!

The Grand Kahuna and Big Kahuna each have two bedrooms - each with their own full bathroom with tub/shower combo. The primary bedroom features a queen bed and small patio, along with a night stand, chest of drawers and spacious closet.

The secondary bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed, a night stand, chest of drawers, TV and closet. As noted, each bedroom has its own bathroom for privacy and convenience.

The Grand and Big Kahunas each offer just about all of the amenities of home. You’ll discover fine appointments in your fully equipped kitchen - including dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and more. For bed and bath, we offer an ample supply of bath towels. All of our Kahunas also feature full (shared) laundry facilities (main floor) and free broadband wireless Internet.

Outside, on each of our sun-splashed patios, we offer a BBQ and a patio table and chairs. Each of our Kahunas also features a coded entry for your added convenience. We also provide beach chairs, umbrellas, Boogie Boards and two beach cruiser bikes.

As for parking, the Grand and Big Kahuna each offer two spaces - one in the garage and a second, directly behind it, in the driveway - so beach parking is never a problem. Windansea Beach is literally just steps away - right around the corner.

With two bedrooms and a sleeper sofa, the Grand and Big Kahunas can each comfortably accommodate 7 guests and with the Little Kahuna just upstairs in the "penthouse," you can sleep up to 18 people!

Centrally located, you are an easy drive (or walk) to all San Diego has to offer: 1 minute to the beach, 2 minutes to the many shops and restaurants in Windansea, 5 minutes to the heart of old La Jolla, 10 minutes to the "children's pool" - now a resting place for seals and sea lions, 10 minutes to the famous La Jolla Cave, La Jolla Cove, the La Jolla Museum of Contemporary Art, the world famous Comedy Store, numerous boutiques and shops and a dazzling array of restaurants offering unmatched international cuisine.

Beyond the Jewel that is La Jolla, you're only 15-20 minutes from Sea World, San Diego's famous Old Town, downtown's Gas Lamp District, the airport and fine shopping at San Diego's Fashion Valley. Just 20 minutes away you'll find the World Famous San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park and about 30 minutes away you can enjoy Legoland, Knott's Soak City or the Wild Animal Park. And finally, only 40 minutes south you can explore the wondrous shopping and cultural experience of Mexico!

The Little Kahuna, our penthouse studio, is located on the 3rd (top) floor. A LARGE parking area behind our building is available for your exclusive use and makes off-loading - and beach parking - easy.

Access to the Little Kahuna is in the back going up an outside spiral staircase. Of course, if you are combining the two Kahunas into one large (sleeps up to 11) multi-level condo, then you can easily access the Little Kahuna by going up the stairs inside the Big Kahuna. (Access is locked and restricted when booked separately).

Our quaint and comfortable Little Kahuna can sleep up to 4 people - two on the sofa/futon and two on the queen size Murphy bed - which folds up and out of the way and is replaced by a kitchen table! This condo also features cable TV, DVD player, wireless broadband Internet (Wi-Fi) and nicely-equipped kitchenette with sink, microwave, toaster, compact refrigerator, dishes, glasses and utensils.

Of course the Little Kahuna has its own ocean-view patio deck, complete with patio table, chairs and umbrella. You'll also find a BBQ as well!
