We live on a private island in the Bahamas and had to take our oldest daughter out to Vancouver, British Columbia for college. This was our first time visiting Vancouver; we just fell in love with the city.

The smell of the Pacific Ocean in the air and the mountain views are spectacular. From the front door of the condo we walked along the Sea Wall in Stanley Park for miles passing beautiful beaches ideal for sunbathing. The park is the most beautiful park we have ever seen!

Our girls shopped on Robson Street, around the corner from the condominium, known for the best shopping in Vancouver! We took them to myriads of cafes, bistros and restaurants, and yes, there is a Starbucks on every corner! There are many theatres in Vancouver showing internationally known productions as well as local plays. We took the water taxi across False Creek to Granville Island and browsed through the many art galleries and bought fresh fish for dinner that night.

Some nights we just stayed at the condo and enjoyed the many amenities the condo and building offered. The girls enjoyed the party room which has a huge TV screen. We enjoyed the gym, indoor/outdoor pool, steamroom and sauna.

The kitchen is fully-equipped for the chef in the house to cook up a storm while you overlook False Creek. The bed is made with crisp, fresh linens, and down-filled comforter and pillows. The bathroom is equipped with large fluffy towels. The den has computer and printer with internet access. Enjoy just sitting in front of the fireplace with a cafe latte looking out at the wonderful view!
