Le Vele consists in two detached villas facing the lake.

Rented together they can sleep up to 15 people. They belong to the same property owner and are situated approximately 100 meters one from the other. The modern house is a 1950s villa (see details below VILLA I), the other one is a 19th century villa (see details below VILLA II). The villas are situated near Lesa by the busy Lago Maggiore shore road, several yards above the level of the road (see last photo). The properties are reached through gates at the main road. From here, steps lead up to the gardens (2000 m2), full of luscious flowers, shrubs and trees. An other gate at the interior of the gardens divides the two properties so you don't need to exit in the main road to pass from one property to the other.

Both houses offer a wonderful view: the panoramic long sides look out onto Lesa bay and on the lake. Behind the house there is a pretty footpath with views of the lake, leading down to Lesa, where you will find a wide range of shops and good restaurants. The Rapanello Restaurant in Lesa offers delicious meals which can be ordered in advance and then taken home. The small harbor and lakeside promenade are just in front of the property - the water is only 50 m away. Although completely different one from the other, they are equally very spacious and comfortable. .

Ground floor:

The Lago Maggiore region offers a wide-ranging leisure program. In the Valle Grande (35 km) there are excellent opportunities for hiking excursions. Two very good golf courses are 8 km away; 40 minutes’ drive away there are a further seven golf courses. Daily excursions are possible to the Borromee islands, to Arona and to the botanical gardens at the Villa Taranto. The ferry at Belgirate is only 2 km away. Lake Orta and the S. Gulio island are only 30 km away. The beautiful ‘Grand Hotel Des Iles Borromees', at Stresa (10 km), has an ultra-modern fitness and beauty center with open-air pool, indoor pool with acquagym and a tennis court. Round off your visit there with a steam bath, sauna and hydromassage.

It is only a short walk (10 minutes) to the hotel 'Villa Fiorella', which also has a tennis court and large swimming pool. Water sports such as sailing, surfing and water skiing are provided in Stresa, Belgirate and Lesa. The boat club at Solcio is only 2 km away. Here you can hire boats or have your own boat brought into the water and anchored. The Milan/Malpensa airport is around 45 km from the property.
